The EXCO Construction Technology Exhibition will bring together an international program of conferences and the participation of 60 universities from America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania this September within the framework of Feria Hábitat València.
The exhibition, organized by the Universitat Politècnica de València, strengthens Feria Hábitat València’s positioning around the global vision of habitat and contemporary architecture.
València, May 18, 2026.- The upcoming edition of Feria Hábitat València will host one of the major international events focused on innovation in building, architecture, and construction: the EXCO’26 Construction Technology Exhibition, which celebrates its 40th anniversary firmly established as a benchmark event for the sector.
Organized by the School of Building Engineering of the Universitat Politècnica de València (ETSIE-UPV), EXCO’26 will take place from September 28 to 30 at Feria Valencia, alongside Feria Hábitat València, reinforcing the fair’s positioning as a global platform integrating design, architecture, industry, and research.
International conference program
With four decades of history, EXCO has established itself as a strategic space for promoting knowledge transfer between universities and companies, fostering entrepreneurship, and bringing innovation closer to the productive sector. In this special edition, the exhibition will further expand its international scope with a comprehensive conference program bringing together renowned national and international experts.
The talks will address some of the sector’s major current challenges, such as construction industrialization, sustainability, process digitalization, the use of BIM, the application of artificial intelligence in building, virtual and augmented reality, as well as energy efficiency and smart building lifecycle management. In addition, successful business cases, professional experiences, and globally oriented projects will be presented.
One of the key focuses of EXCO’26 will be promoting young talent and entrepreneurship. The exhibition will feature its own dedicated space within Feria Hábitat València where students, researchers, and recent graduates will be able to present projects, prototypes, and innovative ideas, encouraging direct connections with companies and generating new professional opportunities.
Exhibition featuring 60 universities from around the world
In this context, and as a complement to EXCO, Feria Hábitat València will also host the International Traveling Exhibition “Researching Building Engineering,” taking place from September 28 to October 1. This exhibition will bring together works from more than 60 universities from America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania, creating a unique showcase of university research on a global level and fostering international scientific collaboration.
The celebration of EXCO’26 also involves a broad UPV research ecosystem, with the participation of nine departments and eight research institutes, enabling the event to offer a cross-disciplinary and comprehensive vision of the present and future challenges facing the building sector.
On its 40th anniversary, EXCO reinforces its historic connection with Feria Valencia, consolidating itself as a meeting point between knowledge, industry, and innovation. Its celebration within Feria Hábitat València also highlights the fair’s commitment to a global vision of habitat, where contemporary architecture, technology, and design converge to respond to new models of living and construction.
The celebration of EXCO within Feria Hábitat València also strengthens the fair’s role as one of the leading international design platforms linked to the habitat sector. Beyond its technological and construction dimension, Hábitat is consolidating itself as a space where design acts as a link between innovation, industry, and culture, integrating solutions that not only respond to technical challenges but also define the quality, functionality, and experience of contemporary spaces.
