The Valencian Community Association of Design Professionals (ADCV), in collaboration with Feria Hábitat Valencia ‘Superhábitat’, is organizing a group exhibition bringing together 26 outstanding projects by affiliated professionals, studios, and companies. The exhibition can be visited from September 28 to October 1, in the main lobby of Level 3, Foro Centro at Feria València, during the event’s opening hours.
Design linked to the habitat is the common thread connecting a broad and multidisciplinary selection that includes furniture, lighting, hardware, textiles, and equipment, alongside editorial, communication, and visual identity projects. In this way, the traditional concept of habitat is expanded, showing how spaces are shaped both through objects and materials and through the narratives and graphic universes that give them their identity.
With this approach, ‘Superhábitat’ reflects the diversity, quality, and innovative capacity of Valencian design. Through different visions, materials, and processes, the proposals demonstrate how design plays a role not only in creating objects and visual communication, but also in shaping the experiences, relationships, and identities that emerge in the spaces where we live, work, learn, meet, or rest.
The selection also highlights a revival of traditional techniques alongside experimentation and new technologies. Above all, it reveals a search for more liveable, flexible environments connected to well-being, as well as the incorporation of sustainability criteria, with a design approach focused on people’s real needs.
Guided tour: 30/9 at 10:00 a.m.
On Wednesday, September 30, at 10:00 a.m., a guided tour will take place with the participation of several of the designers responsible for the exhibited pieces. The event will provide an opportunity to learn first-hand about their working processes, the decisions they made, and the ideas that gave rise to the projects.
