- The collection will be unveiled at Feria Hábitat València 2026, which will take place from 28 September to 1 October.
- Calma Creative drew inspiration from rounded rocks, dunes and surfaces sculpted by wind and water to create the furniture.
- The range includes an armchair, a pouffe, chairs with and without armrests, a stool, rectangular and round tables, coffee tables, a bench, a headboard and a footboard.
Calma Creative takes centre stage in the first collaboration for KODU SIGNATURE, the project through which KODU – VICAL’s young brand – offers prestigious design studios the opportunity to create pages for its catalogue that have yet to be imagined. The studio marks the start of its partnership with the brand with ‘Foam’, a collection set to be unveiled at Feria Hábitat València 2026, scheduled to take place from 28 September to 1 October. A striking collection that seeks, above all, to exude calm and allow it to permeate every aspect. It achieves this by drawing inspiration from nature’s organic forms and moulding them into foams and fabrics that cushion the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
To achieve that fluidity and harmony which spark an irresistible urge to take any of its pieces home, Calma Creative turned its attention to rounded rocks, dunes and surfaces sculpted by wind and water. In this way, it found a way to condense centuries of erosion into a series of continuous, enveloping pieces of furniture for our everyday lives.
It was no easy task. Behind ‘Foam’ lie many hours of observation, study and experimentation. The studio analysed the behaviour of soft materials down to the last millimetre until it discovered how a flat surface could be transformed into a three-dimensional form, in a constant quest for perfection.
The collection comprises a wide variety of furniture designed for different rooms in the home. It includes an armchair, a pouffe, chairs with and without armrests, a stool, rectangular and round tables, coffee tables, a bench, a headboard and a footboard. Of course, KODU SIGNATURE and Calma Creative ensure that all the pieces share the same aesthetic and design philosophy, so that nothing looks out of place and visual balance is maintained from start to finish, whether in a private home, a hospitality venue or a contract space.
Another of Foam’s marvellous features is its adaptability. Users can customise the furniture to suit their needs. The armchair module, for example, can be combined with other pieces to create two- or three-seater sofas, as well as larger, more open arrangements. There is no single way to do this, as it all depends on the user’s requirements.
And that versatility and flexibility extend to absolutely everything. Depending on the colour of the fabrics and the wood finishes, the furniture is ideal for modern, minimalist interiors or more eclectic settings.
Last but not least: ergonomics. KODU SIGNATURE and Calma Creative have refined every angle, proportion and internal structure so that whoever sits on them feels as though they are floating on a gentle cloud.

Calma Creative is a Valencia-based product design studio specialising in furniture and interior accessories, with an innate artistic sensibility and a thorough understanding of materials, construction and production processes. None of this comes as a surprise when you consider that the creative direction is led by Ewa, who is passionate about simple forms, natural materials and colour balance. No detail is insignificant to her. She begins every project with research into the users, the context and the production process, and continues with sketches, models and prototypes until every decision has been refined to the highest degree.
The studio collaborates with manufacturers from various European countries, adopting a practical approach focused on developing solutions that enhance the experience of those who purchase their products. On this complex journey, José – an engineer by profession and a partner to Ewa’s imagination – provides the necessary technical and structural insight.
