The brand is expanding its A-Collection and Urban collection with new pieces

All Capdell’s new products will be on display at stand A25 N3P2

At Feria Hábitat Valencia from 17 to 20 September, the furniture company Capdell will unveil a new collection that appeal directly to its essence as a brand. Designed by Vicent Martínez, the new proposal presents signature furniture that is functional, beautiful and designed based on a multipurpose concept which enables it to fit into any space.

With the new Isacollection, which will be on display at stand A25 N3P2, the firm is reinforcing its commitment to design, sustainability and its ability to inspire when creating different spaces that connect with people.

Isa, the first stackable wooden chair designed by Vicent Martínez for Capdell, truly embodies his essence as a designer. Inspired by the name of his daughter, it is aneasily adaptable chair laden with symbolism. Thanks to its vivid, variable backs, Isa can be transformed, enabling it to fit into a wide range of spaces, in very different cultures and for a broad array of tastes, thus becoming a model with many styles: Nordic, classical, Mediterranean, existential, sophisticated, linear or fresh.

Its secret is the interplay of the beechwood back and the upholstery options. Isa becomes a very different chair through two mix-and-match pieces and the underlying upholstery, with a play of shapes and colours ranging from cut-outs to plain and upholstered. They all combine on both the upper part of the backrest and in the lower-back area. Plus, Isa can be stacked and makes a little nod with the detail of the flap on its back, which creates a unique niche for stowing small items like handbags and coin purses, making it ideal for restaurants. This collection comes in a chair, an armchair and a stool, which multiplies its ability to adapt to and be installed in a host of different spaces with the same aesthetic.

Along with these new products, in Valencia Capdell will also unveil the expansion of the A-Collection family by Fran Silvestre with a 1.60-cm wide bench to complete the collection which already included a chair and stool. A-Collection sprang from the interaction between a minimal metallic structure and a square shape with orthogonal geometry and a more organic wooden shell which brings comfort and ergonomics to the wood. It is a piece that plays with the minimalism of metal and the warmth of wood in a product that aspires to the minimal expression of its forms without sacrificing comfort and ergonomics when seated.

More news featured at the stand will be the redesign of Urban, an extremely comfortable modular sofa with a host of different finishes which can be adapted in different ways. With aheight somewhere between a chair and a stool, Urban is redesigned to present a bench option and its freedom to adapt to communal areas.

All the Capdell collections on display at the Feria Hábitat Valencia remain faithful to this brand with more than 50 years of experience: quality, design, durability and unique proposals capable of generating inspiring, creative, distinctive spaces.
