ICONIA by Bio.design reinterprets the mini pool as a piece of architectural furniture, designed to blend naturally into contemporary outdoor spaces.
In this project, the corten exterior finish, in warm terracotta tones, recalls the colours of the earth and of Mediterranean materials, establishing a harmonious dialogue with the terracotta paving, the building’s stonework and the surrounding vegetation. The pool’s essential volume thus becomes a tactile element, understated yet strongly characterful.
The project is completed by the interior finish, Iconia Luxia, an exclusive blend of natural quartz and yellow spherical quartz sourced from the French Alps. Its straw-yellow tones give the water luminous reflections reminiscent of Mediterranean and exotic seas, while the small perimeter inserts in Botticino dolomitic marble enrich the surface with a refined, tactile detail.
The integrated seating, the Hermes cushions and the accessory modules Kimera broaden the pool experience, transforming it into a space dedicated to relaxation, conviviality and outdoor living.
Fully modular and installed without invasive works, ICONIA offers a new interpretation of the mini pool: not merely a technical element, but a design project capable of enhancing both architecture and landscape through materials, finishes and details conceived with the same care devoted to interior spaces.

The construction system is based on an EPDM waterproofing membrane — an inert material free from harmful additives — together with quartz sand and a specific resin formulation, interleaved with reinforcing meshes.
