New ‘Contract 360o by Maderalia’ space to complement Hábitat offering with selection of innovations, materials and technical solutions geared to contract projects.
Move signals Feria Valencia boosting synergies between the two foremost wood and furniture fairs and extending scope of Hábitat 2025. Move is also prelude to biennial FIMMA + Maderalia show slated for 2026.
Valencia, 13th March 2025.- The next edition of Feria Hábitat València is to host a specialist exhibition area dedicated to the contract sector. The ‘Contract 360o by Maderalia’ space devised, as its name suggests, by one of Feria Valencia’s other top trade fairs, Maderalia, means that Hábitat will be extending its offering in this particular field, with companies and brands linked to Maderalia showing ranges related specifically to fitting out shared spaces such as hotels, shops, offices and restaurants.
The aim is to create a powerful exhibition hub with an offering of products and services that goes beyond furniture, lighting and décor and that is attractive to the contract business. Products will include panelboard, surfaces, claddings, architectural elements and technological and software solutions specially geared to architects, interior designers and project managers involved in contract projects.
Most of this offering is already on show every two years at Maderalia. This new ‘Contract 360o by Maderalia’ initiative gives it the opportunity to also be a part of Hábitat every other year when FIMMA + Maderalia is not taking place.
Must-see stands highlighting innovation
This presence will however take a different form to the traditional Hábitat stands. The proposition for this initiative is, in principle, to have a smaller group of no more than fifty carefully selected exhibitors, each with small, pared back stands totally focused on showing the latest product/s the exhibitor has devised for the contract sector.
In line with the type of product on show, these stands will be located right by the new unique hotel installation that Feria Hábitat will be featuring at this upcoming edition, in partnership with a renowned architecture and interior design practise
Synergies between two top events
As Feria Hábitat València director, Daniel Marco, says “what Hábitat aims to do in every edition is carry on growing and be able to offer our visitor and professionals new business opportunities. In that regard, the contract component of our fair is growing all the time, and initiatives like ‘Contract 360 o by Maderalia’ will enrich Feria Hábitat València 2025’s appeal considerably”.
FIMMA + Maderalia director Alejandro Roda, claims that “this initiative provides an excellent opportunity for companies that exhibit at Maderalia that have a clear interest in the contract sector and for whom having their own fair only every two years is not quite enough in terms of showing their latest innovations and new products”. Roda also explains that “linking this new Hábitat project to Maderalia will be a magnificent prelude to the next edition of FIMMA + Maderalia, which will be returning with a bang from 10th to 13th November 2026. Also, Maderalia exhibitors are being offered special rates for exhibiting in this new area”.
This novel initiative means that Feria Valencia is promoting and strengthening the synergies between Spain’s two foremost, key events for the wood and furniture industries: Feria Hábitat València and FIMMA + Maderalia. Between them, the two shows bring around 2000 exhibitors and more than 70,000 trade visitors together. Initiatives such as this one undoubtedly enhance the visibility and awareness of all the sectors involved.
A unique offering with international pulling power. From 29th September to 2nd October Feria Valencia will be hosting the three leading furniture, lighting, décor, home textiles, upholstery and contract sector trade fairs simultaneously. Feria Hábitat València and Textilhogar Home Textiles Premium comprise Spain’s most extensive showcase for the home and the contract sectors, configured on a large scale and drawing a huge Spanish and international audience – a successful formula featuring more than 90,000 square metres of exhibition space and attracting more than 43,000 professionals to visit from 70 countries
