Ciment Studio returns to Feria Hábitat Valencia 2026 with a more organic, colourful and sculptural proposal in handcrafted microcement

Ciment Studio, the Valencia-based studio specialising in handcrafted microcement furniture, returns to Feria Hábitat Valencia 2026 for the second consecutive year with a proposal that expands its formal language through geometry, harmonious curves, colour, and new furniture and lighting solutions adapted to each space.

Located at Level 3 – Pavilion 2 – Stand A38, the 36 m² space is conceived as a composition of geometric forms and harmonious curves, expressed both in the architecture of the stand and in the furniture itself. In contrast to the entirely neutral palette used in the previous edition, the 2026 proposal introduces Fuji blue and tile red or terracotta, creating a more expressive environment without losing the continuity, texture and material identity of Ciment Studio.

The material as a starting point

With more than 16 years of experience in the application of microcement, Ciment Studio has developed its own approach: every piece begins with the material. All designs are handcrafted in the studio’s atelier in Guadassuar, Valencia, combining technical precision, formal experimentation and attention to detail.

The use of Lunik, a premium Spanish microcement brand, makes it possible to work with continuous finishes, high resistance and a wide variety of tones and textures. This versatility enables the development of both freestanding pieces and built-in elements, maintaining seamless surfaces and a coherent, contemporary aesthetic.

Collections and new pieces

The selection presented in this edition brings together new seating designs, side tables, lighting and sculptural pieces that reflect a clear evolution in Ciment Studio’s formal language, now more organic, curved and colourful.

The collection will feature two of our most distinctive chair designs, Kies and Mee, together with Tycho, the first stool developed by the studio. This new typology expands the catalogue and translates the continuity of microcement into a compact, functional piece adaptable to residential projects.

The proposal also includes a series of side tables inspired by the Wargo model. In lighting, the studio presents Bok, a set of three pendant lamps, and Dune, a new circular backlit wall light that explores the relationship between volume, texture and indirect light.

The stand itself will showcase built-in solutions, including arches and a curved counter. These elements demonstrate Ciment Studio’s ability to develop bespoke furniture and volumes adapted to the dimensions, architecture and specific requirements of each space.

The table selection will include a medium-sized table with a Botero-style leg and the centrepiece of this edition: a completely new, organic table constructed from continuous curves. The design demonstrates the technical precision the studio can achieve in the execution of complex curvatures and seamless microcement surfaces.

Design process and approach

Each piece is developed as a custom-made solution, with flexibility in dimensions, finishes and colour. The direct, manual process allows proportions, radii, junctions and construction details to be adjusted according to the space, its use and the identity of each project.

“We work from the material, understanding how it behaves and how far it can be taken. For this edition, we wanted to explore colour and curved forms in greater depth, demonstrating that microcement can be used to create highly precise pieces that are, at the same time, completely adapted to the space,” says Enrique Martínez Muñecas, co-founder of Ciment Studio.

This approach results in precise, balanced pieces designed to integrate naturally into contemporary projects, from freestanding furniture to solutions conceived directly for interior architecture.

Ciment Studio’s participation in Feria Hábitat Valencia 2026 marks a new step in the evolution of the brand, strengthening its position within contemporary design and expanding its network of collaborations with architects, interior designers and industry professionals in Spain and internationally.
