'Hotel Hábitat 2026 by Joaquín Homs' imagines a new, more sensory, sustainable, and universal way of living

Level 2, Pavilion 6

Hotel Hábitat 2026 was born as an architectural and emotional reflection on the contemporary act of living. The project proposes the creation of a “universal hotel, a place capable of simultaneously belonging to the sea, the mountains, the desert, or the city, where different cultures, landscapes, and ways of understanding contemporary life converge.”

Inspired by the ancestral concept of the “navel of the world”—the symbolic point where heaven, earth, and the underworld meet in numerous ancient cosmologies—this space is built and conceived as a center for connection, balance, and awareness.

A place where architecture ceases to be merely about form and becomes a sensory and emotional experience.

AMC Kitchen Lab

Level 3 Pavilion 3

A revolutionary exhibition project that will bring together both the ‘AMC Kitchen Lab’ showcase and the conference and live showcooking area for the upcoming edition of Espacio Cocina SICI.

Designed by the renowned interior designer Francesc Rifé, the project is built upon a fundamental concept: the kitchen as a social threshold and a gathering space for exchange and thought. An exhibited object that transforms into a spatial system capable of opening up, concealing itself, and shifting its identity according to the needs of the moment.

'Matter' Exhibition

Level 2 Pavilion 6 bis

Matter will present a showcase in València—located right opposite Salón nude in Hall 6—to discover, touch, and rethink materials… offering a preview of how matter accompanies every project from the very beginning: from specification to the sourcing and management of the desired material.

Far more than a mere catalogue, the exhibition reflects Matter’s ongoing mission: to bring innovation closer, reflect upon it, and drive it forward. The display will organize materials around their origin, technology, and reuse, allowing visitors to touch, compare, and understand how the exact same material can take on entirely different identities depending on how it is processed.

EXCO Exhibition

Level 2 | Pavilion 6 bis | Auditorium

Organized by the School of Building Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de València (ETSIE-UPV), EXCO’26 takes its international dimension a step further with a comprehensive conference program featuring renowned national and international experts.
