Companies from the textile sector will align with Hábitat exhibitors according to style and product typology. The aim is to multiply business opportunities in attracting high-level buyers.
The event recently held a working meeting with companies associated with the textile association ATEVAL, in which the commitment to offering an integrated vision of the entire habitat offering was ratified.
València, February 13, 2026.- Companies from the home textiles, upholstery, decoration, and contract sectors participating in the next edition of Textilhogar will be integrated into the Feria Hábitat València showcase with the aim of boosting and multiplying business opportunities.
The textile sector, which will maintain its ‘Textilhogar – Home Textiles Premium’ brand, will take advantage of the synergies among the different sectors participating from September 28 to October 1 in the joint event at Feria Valencia: Feria Hábitat València, Textilhogar, Espacio Cocina SICI and, as a new feature this year, the 360 by Cevisama initiative.
Working meeting at ATEVAL
This strategy was recently addressed in a meeting at the headquarters of the textile association ATEVAL, with the participation of a broad representation of associated companies and Textilhogar exhibitors. During the meeting, a strategy was ratified that responds to the current demands of the sector, aligned with market evolution, new trends in design and decoration, and the need to offer a more integrated vision of the habitat.
The session was attended by Pepe Serna, president of ATEVAL; José Ramón Revert, president of the Textilhogar Organizing Committee; Vicente Pons, president of the Feria Hábitat Organizing Committee; Daniel Marco, director of Feria Hábitat València; Máximo Solaz, director of Textilhogar; and Leila Bachetarzi, director of Internationalization at ATEVAL.

A more coherent format organized by styles
The new layout includes the integration of home textile exhibitors within Feria Hábitat València, but with a more coherent location, aligned with the characteristics, product typology, and positioning of each manufacturer. The objective, as noted, is to facilitate a better experience for both exhibitors and professional visitors and to strengthen the sector’s business opportunities.
Thus, manufacturers of finished home textiles, such as mattress protectors or bed linen, will be located in the sleep area, alongside mattress manufacturers in Pavilions 3 and 4 on Level 2. Meanwhile, textile editors will be able to exhibit in Pavilion 2 on Level 3, alongside design furniture brands, while manufacturers of upholstery and decorative fabrics will be distributed in strategic areas within Pavilions 1 and 4 on Level 3.
A more transversal and integrative trade fair
As stated by Pepe Serna, president of ATEVAL, “the change in our trade fair model responds to a market reality that the sector itself had been raising for some time. Integrating textiles within a global vision of the habitat allows for greater coherence, visibility, and competitiveness, and places home textiles in the strategic position they deserve within design and decoration.” In this regard, Serna also emphasized that “the support of the companies confirms that the sector is ready to evolve and take advantage of the synergies offered by a more transversal fair, aligned with new consumption models, specification, and contract projects.”
In this new scenario, the reverse trade mission organized by ATEVAL is maintained, considered a strategic tool to attract key international buyers and specifiers and to strengthen the international projection of exhibiting textile companies.
