Valencia, 8th May 2025.- Salón nude 2025 is coming. The 21st edition of the Young Design Talent Show takes place this coming September. Now a firmly established feature of the ‘made in Spain’ landscape, the show will be part of the events scheduled as part of Feria Hábitat València, which runs from 29th September to 2nd October at Feria Valencia.
Entrely on its own merits, the show has become not just Spain’s main event for the industry it represents, but also a point of reference for European and Ibero-American design as an exhibition-style setting where young international designers, interiors industry professionals (manufacturers and distributors), and society in general can meet.
What Nude offers, in this sense, is a setting where visitors can discover trends and explore the innovations that are emerging in interiors from the creative, curious perspective of burgeoning talent. It comprises a Design Studios zone showcasing emerging designers, a Schools of Design zone and Ágora nude, space dedicated to talks and round tables addressing aspects of design and design culture.
Nude 2025 selection committee
Every year, nude selects a group of young designers and schools of design to showcase, the selection being made on the basis of their outstanding innovation and creativity. Tasked with the selection process is a jury of high-calibre professionals who themselves stand out as significant figures in their particular areas of design.
The jury for the 2025 edition of Nude includes brilliant designer Héctor Serrano, the latest winner of the National Design Prize, as announced at last year’s edition of Feria Hábitat Valencia. As it happens, the Valencian designer participated in the first few editions of Salón nude, which served as a launchpad for his profesional career, a story he shares with another member of the 2025 jury, architect and designer Mariola Reyna, of design studio Arnau & Reyna.
Joining them from the manufacturing side is Rubén Mateos, Art director and Head of Design at avant-garde furniture and accessories business Viccarbe. Last but not least is Chisco Villar, designer and deputy joint director at the Spanish Government Ministry of Culture’s Centre for the Coordination of Cultural Industries, a public body that has helped promote the last few editions of Salón nude. María Fontes, founder and curator of Salón nude, will be co-ordinating the jury.
Application deadline 15th June
Participation is open to emerging international designer-creatives, final year design students, schools of design and universities It is also open to new design and manufacturing companies and to galleries submitting projects compatible with the spirit of the show and that fulfil its terms and conditions.

The jury of design professionals will meet at Feria Valencia after the deadline for applications has passed, to choose which of the design studios and products will be shown at Salón nude 2025. This committee of experts will be required to assess which designs boast features that best represent the spirit of the Salón.
Once the selection has been made, the event organisers will publish the final list of participants in the show, which has over the years become a veritable hothouse of Spanish design.
