Massmi new collections at Hábitat

Zesta S / Dot S / Moixent / Recorda / Disk / Olivia

After more than eight decades dedicated to lighting design, Héctor and Marisa Massoni, grandchildren of the founder of Massmi, continue to present pieces and collections produced in Spain from their factory in Valencia. These are soulful objects that shape the personality of our homes thanks to the craftsmanship of the designers, architects, and interior designers they collaborate with.

This ongoing commitment has led to numerous awards throughout their trajectory, such as the 2022 ADCV Silver Award for the Zesta lamp, which in 2025 is being reimagined through the integration of icons that allow it to be used as an illuminated signage element. This gives rise to the Zesta S collection.

Zesta, the wall and ceiling lamp designed by the Valencian studio Aranda Aloy Enblanc, now incorporates a new signage system. As the designers explain, “After several years of Zesta being included in various projects, and in response to demand from the hospitality sector, together with Massmi, we decided that the product needed to offer something more. That’s how we added the signage functionality, and at the same time, we integrated it into the Dot lamp, creating the Dot S collection.”

Moixent evokes traditional wicker weaving. This vertically oriented lamp, available in two sizes, fits perfectly into any environment. It combines the raw exterior color of the braided cord with an inner diffuser screen tinted in different shades, adding character to the light.

Yonoh highlights the key elements of its design: “The essence of Moixent lies in the combination of colors and textures. The inner shade has color, while the outer structure is made of neutral-toned braided cord. With Moixent, the goal is to create a cozy and warm atmosphere,” explains Clara del Portillo.

To complete the presentation of new rope-based designs, Massmi introduces the Recorda collection, designed by Valencian designer Nacho Timón, as well as Disk and Olivia, which were designed in-house by the company.

The Disk collection features a series of circular lamps with 40 and 60 centimeter diameters, which can be installed either as pendant or wall-mounted fixtures. When wall-mounted, they can be arranged in both illuminated and decorative panels.

Olivia emerges as a new interpretation of the Grace lamp through a simple gesture. This time, the bulb is slightly more enclosed, dressed in a new skirt, but still reflecting the same feminine, relaxed, and elegant style.

Recorda, designed by Nacho Timón, stands out for its simplicity and elegance in the combination of its materials. The rope wraps around the natural wood body without protruding beyond the shade’s surface. Alone or in composition, it provides both focused and general lighting, creating warm and comfortable environments. It is available in two sizes and two wood finishes: natural or black. Its design pairs perfectly with basic technical lighting in a wide range of interiors and spaces. The disc-mounted version also allows for various combinations.
