José Manuel Ferrero transforms nude’25 into an athletics track through a powerful visual concept

The creative director of estudi{H}ac is inspired by “the vital energy of emerging creators” to create a “metaphor in motion” through “a great circuit of ideas, forms and materials, where young talent sets into motion.”

The 2025 nude Salon will be driven by the Ministry of Culture and Sport and supported by wood transformation firm Finsa.

València, June 26, 2025 – The upcoming edition of the nude Salon at Feria Hábitat València, to be held from September 29 to October 2, will debut a new and powerful exhibition space concept born from the creativity of one of today’s most acclaimed designers, José Manuel Ferrero. Two editions ago, it was Pepe Cosín who shaped the nude space with soft cream and blue tones, and in other years, it was the turn of studios like La Mamba Omelette, Odosdesign, Nadadora, Kiitos, Herme and Mónica, or Enblanc. This year, it will be the turn of the creative director of estudi{H}ac, who will break boundaries with a powerful visual and symbolic concept that connects the past, present, and future of design.

Ferrero, who participated as an emerging designer in the first three editions of the nude Salon and was responsible for the commemorative design for its tenth anniversary in 2012, now offers a renewed vision of the space: a track open to the future inspired by athletic tracks and the vital energy that characterizes emerging creators.

A new design that proposes a metaphor in motion of what it means to practice design: rhythm, endurance, and perseverance. “A great circuit of ideas, forms, and materials where young talent gets moving, aware that design is, above all, a long-distance race,” explains Ferrero himself, for whom “each project presented in nude is a testimony to that silent but steady journey toward professionalization and innovation.”

How is it structured?

The design of the space is built around a large central Agora—a circular, dynamic, and multipurpose space—where the most important voices, conversations, and visions in current design will come together, projecting the voice of young design as the protagonist of a long-distance journey toward innovation and professionalization.

The installation emphasizes the link between design and production: a practice where creativity translates into technical solutions, specific materials, and replicable industrial processes. It incorporates construction elements that make this dimension visible: modular structures, honest finishes, exposed joints, and materials that reference manufacturing and lightweight engineering.

With this, for Ferrero, “nude reaffirms its identity as an active forum for thought and action, consolidating its mission to be a platform for emerging design, serving as a tool for the habitat sector, creating professional meeting spaces, and spreading the values of design culture.” As the designer states, “Hábitat is the ideal setting to give visibility to new talent and strengthen the links between creativity, industry, and the market.”

With the support of Finsa and the Ministry of Culture and Sport

This edition of the nude Salon will once again have the support of the Government of Spain, through the Ministry of Culture and Sport, which promotes the salon as a showcase for the country’s talent and design.

Furthermore, once again the nude Salon partners with a leading firm in wood transformation such as Finsa, which will contribute its latest innovations in technical and decorative Hábitat 360 solutions for interior architecture to build the nude Salon 2025.
