Hábitat to stage ‘Materials with a conscience’ exhibit, showing selection of contemporary sustainable materials

Arranged in partnership with ‘Material Bank’ and the consultancy team at ‘Matter’, the exhibit will show a sampling resource for cladding and materials designed for architecture and interior design projects.

Valencia, 2nd June 2025.- Feria Hábitat València 2025 is to stage an exhibit titled ‘Materials with a Conscience’, which will present the most innovative and sustainable materials and claddings to the architecture and interior design professionals visiting the upcoming edition of Hábitat, set to run from 29th September to 2nd October at Feria Valencia and alongside Textilhogar.

The exhibition is the result of a close collaboration with Matter, Spain’s leading materials consultancy, based in Barcelona, Madrid and Sotogrande, and Material Bank, the ‘marketplace’ platform based in the USA, Europe and Japan that has transformed the process of sampling materials for architectural, construction and design projects at global level. The strategic alliance between these two entities aims torevolutionise how materials are selected and specified in architectural and interior design projects in Spain. The process comes to Feria Hábitat València next September.

The exhibition highlights the impact of materials on people and the environment, underscoring their role in creating healthier and more sustainable spaces. Matter’s team of consultant architects will guide visitors through a selection of materials that promote calmness, wellbeing and a smaller environmental footprint.

To do this, they will be producing a selection of ‘materialboards’ with contemporary materials, designed to be used in architecture and interior design projects. They will also be preparing a selection of samples that visiting architects and interior designers will be able to request via Material Bank and that will be sent direct to their offices.

The ‘Materials with a Conscience’ exhibition promotes innovation and sustainability, highlighting claddings and finishing materials that are outstandingly innovative, or display an outstanding degree of environmental awareness or technological progress.
