From the 18th to the 21st September, POINT will be faithful to its appointment with the international design in HÁBITAT VALENCIA, one of the most important events in the furniture industry contract sector.
Three hundred national and international firms are expected to attend this edition —25% more than last year—, and our new designs for outdoor furniture will be displayed at the 180m2 stand designed by Francesc Rifé in the Hall 2 A16.
One of the novelties that will be exhibited is DALMATIA, created by the Slovenian Nika Zupanc, recent incorporation to the designers’ team of POINT. This collection of chairs, armchairs, sofas, high and low tables is a reinterpretation in aluminum of the type of furniture that the company produced in its beginnings, almost hundred years ago.
The designer Francesc Rifé, a regular collaborator of the firm, proposes two new lightweight collections for this edition: SIR, with straight lines and an aluminum structure covered with Batyline® fabric and teak armrests; and MIN, made with the same material, and which stands out thanks to the tight ribbon used on the base, giving them personality and a certain retro flair.
Vicent Martínez, for his part, will present in HÁBITAT VALENCIA the extension of their successful WEAVE series; while Gabriel Teixidó, one of the most veteran designers, will surprise the participants with his innovative proposal ALU. Armchairs, nightstands and aluminum poufs with upholstered elements, perfect for contract and hospitability spaces.
The company, pioneers in the use of twisted fibre material, has become during the last years a worldwide reference in the manufacturing of outdoor furniture due to a high focus on innovation and design which result in a long-lasting, functional and comfortable furniture fitting any place and space.
