Alaska Circular: The Most Circular and Impactful Stand at Feria Hábitat Valencia 2025

This year at Feria Hábitat Valencia, circularity will take center stage. Alaska Circular will unveil a stand that goes far beyond displaying furniture: it will be an immersive experience that proves another way of designing, producing, and consuming is possible. More efficient. More responsible.

The Spanish startup, a leading reference in applying circular economy principles to furniture and interior design, announces that its space will be the stand with the greatest environmental, social, and economic impact at the fair. And this is not just a claim: it is backed by traceable materials, measurable impact metrics, and a lineup of brands that embody conscious design.

Brands joining Alaska Circular at Feria Hábitat

  • LA HORMIGA VERDE – furniture made from electronic waste collected from schools

  • GRAVITY WAVE – materials created from marine plastic

  • KAIMOK DESIGN – sustainable design and decoration

  • WOOP RUGS – rugs made from recycled and recyclable materials

  • iSiMAR – outdoor design furniture from past exhibitions

  • PEROBELL – furniture from showrooms and exhibitions

  • AMBIAZZA – outdoor pine furniture previously used at trade fairs

  • GRUPO MONTIEL OFICINAS – refurbished office furniture

  • GREENAREA – decorative solutions with preserved greenery

  • LAUBBE – outdoor furniture

  • ASSIDO – association that promotes art among people with disabilities

Each of these brands represents a different path toward circularity and social impact.

Social and environmental impact

The Alaska Circular stand will also highlight how circularity drives real impact, both socially and environmentally. La Hormiga Verde, through its inclusive employment model offering jobs to people with disabilities, showcases the social value of the circular economy. Meanwhile, Gravity Wave, transforming plastic waste collected from the sea into design pieces, illustrates how furniture can actively contribute to environmental regeneration.

What visitors will find at the stand

  • Furniture and design pieces created from materials that once had no value — from the sea, electronic waste, and other discarded resources.

  • Refurbished furniture given a second life and new purpose.

  • Surplus items from trade fairs, showrooms, and outlets.

In the words of the Alaska Circular team:
“Circularity is not a trend. It is the way forward. And in Valencia, we will prove it with facts.”

II Alaska Circular Awards

On October 1st at 1:00 PM, the II Edition of the Alaska Circular Awards will take place at the stand (Entrance P4 – Level 3 – DT51), recognizing the three companies most committed to sustainability and circularity.

The awards will be presented by Rafael Ortega, industrial designer and project director at Gutierrez y Ortega Diseño, a recognized leader in sustainable design.

The awards themselves have been produced by Ayúdame3D, an initiative whose mission is to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups through 3D printing technology.
