València, meeting point for the habitat industry
Feria Valencia will be one of the major epicenters of design month with the celebration, from September 29 to October 2, of the major international events focused on the habitat sectors: Feria Hábitat València and Textilhogar.
Both events will bring together more than 700 companies and brands and will occupy an exhibition area of nearly 90,000 square meters, equivalent to the eight halls on levels 1 and 2 of Feria Valencia.
A large-scale event that will be accompanied by various installations, exhibitions, and parallel activities that will complement four days of experiences centered around the latest proposals in interior design, design, and projects for collectives — all led by the best professionals of the moment.
For example, interior designer Tomás Alía, winner of the Gold Medal for Fine Arts in 2022, will be in charge of designing a sustainable hotel inspired by the most rooted Valencian architectural tradition. His installation “Barracas” for “Hotel Hábitat 2025” will include eight suites designed by top names such as Pascua Ortega, Odosdesign, Pepe Cosín, and Clap Studio, among others. The hotel industry will also take center stage with the celebration of several professional forums and contract days in collaboration with HOSBEC and the Council of Interior Design Associations.
In addition, Hábitat will also welcome recent National Design Award winner Héctor Serrano and his retrospective of 25 years of work, which will include his acclaimed exhibition “Raíces” — vases made from DANA storm debris and intended for charitable purposes. Sigfrido Serra, in collaboration with Interiores magazine, will dress Textilhogar in pink with a surprising installation: “Pinknic, textile experience,” which will include the trend zone by AITEX.
New materials for architecture and interior design will take the spotlight with the “Conscious Materiality” exhibition, organized in collaboration with Material Bank and the Matter consulting team. This exhibition will be located next to the new “Contract 360” area, dedicated to showcasing the latest innovations for projects and collectives.
Additionally, Hábitat will host for the first time “Tempocraft,” the first contemporary craft fair “Made in Spain,” which will bring together more than 30 premium creators and artisan workshops. It will also serve as the setting for the DIN Awards \ [National Interior Design], organized by the Council of Official Interior Designers of Spain.
An endless array of new features that will be complemented by a must-see event at Hábitat: the nude Salon for young design talents, which will host the nude Agora conference series, this year conceptualized by José Manuel Ferrero and Estudi{H}ac.
