Lighting sector is star of Feria Hábitat Valencia 2010

From 28th September to 2nd October Feria Valencia will be showcasing the most comprehensive fair for “Made in Spain” interiors. 2010 is the year for presenting the very latest in lighting, furniture, décor, upholstery, bedrooms, home textiles and outdoor furniture. The 2010 fair will also see the fair extended to include office furnishings and technological solutions for the home of the future. In addition, kitchen furniture marketing platform DIC (International Kitchen Design) is launching a fresh initiative this year – R, D + I Workshops – headed up by AIIMA, the Furniture Technology Institute.

The lighting industry is delivering what both the supply and the demand sides of the industry need and maintaining its biennial presence (in even-numbered years) at Feria Hábitat Valencia.  At this next show, from 28th September to 2nd October, the lighting sector will be showcasing a collection of products built on quality. Lighting in the classic, modern and cutting edge styles and for technical and garden uses too will be on display, with Spanish and European brands showing their latest products.

The fair will without question be both a national and an international business platform where professionals will have the opportunity to see the latest developments in the world of lighting. According to a study carried out by an external consultancy in 2008 the lighting section of the Feria Hábitat Valencia exhibition is firmly established as a business platform, a meeting point for professionals and a showcase for trends. The majority of visitors – 81.5% – claim to be satisfied with what they achieved from their visit. 50.4% of lighting professionals do up to 25% of their year’s business at the fair, whilst for 12.7% of visitors that figure rises to over 50%.

Feria Hábitat Valencia was conceived as an integrated project, which means that the content is organised into sections by style. This in turn makes it easier for both exhibitors and visitors to gain a clear overall view of how the lighting industry is developing and reflecting what is happening in the marketplace. The fair is the ideal setting for showing products as it is at once a sales platform and a meeting place where professionals can gain information and learn about the industry, a feature that adds value to the fair and creates a point of difference.
