Feria Hábitat Valencia is the only international Spanish trade fair that gathers together the entire product offer for interiors: furniture, decor, home textiles, lighting, contract, fixtures, fittings and furniture for commercial facilities and, courtesy of the R, D + i seminars, leading edge cooking.
Feria Hábitat Valencia seeks to give a boost to the sectors involved, create trends and generate innovation. Its achievements to date are proof of this ambition: it now boasts 800 exhibitors, 60,000 visitors from more than 100 countries and 125,000 square metres of space given over to exhibits.
At Feria Hábitat Valencia we have always believed in and been committed to quality and design as features that create a point of difference. These values are at the core of the 'Made in Spain' way of perceiving interiors and have helped make ours an important exhibition for the world’s leading markets.
In 2010 we intend to take one more step towards developing the strategic aspect of Spain as a bridge between Europe and Iberoamerica. We will do this by hosting the
1st Iberoamerican Congress for the Interior Architecture Profession, a congress at which a number of activities will be staged that will appeal to interior designers, architects and specifiers.

Urban space
Our concept for the fair is of an urban space inspired by the great cities: the big cities are the main generators of trends in interiors.

That format that conveys our lifestyle to exhibitors and visitors: every plaza and corner oozes ‘ideas y pasión’. Just as in the most cosmopolitan capital cities, there is enough room at Feria Hábitat Valencia for all styles, with the various types of product sitting happily alongside one another.
Feria Hábitat Valencia has sought inspiration in the city and is taking the show to districts that reflect the lifestyles of the 21st century. Colourful plazas, huge posters advertising the events taking place, signage that guides us through the spaces, special lighting that steers the eye to the stands, trees and street furniture that make everyone’s time at the fair more pleasant – everything has been thought out to achieve optimum interaction between exhibitors and visitors.
Talent congregates here
This year it is Patricia Urquiola who will be heading up a series of exhibits in which Spain’s top designers will show their vision for interiors.
Patricia Urquiola is ambassador par excellence for ‘made is Spain’ design, named best designer of the first decade of the 21st century by Häuser und Home magazine, 2005 designer of the year according to the prestigious Wallpaper magazine, Urquiola regularly works with top companies.
The catering sector will be present at the 2010 fair too with the R+D+i Cooking seminars that will again be targeting restaurant owners, as users and specifiers, and the industry.
Promotion and internationalisation programme
We want to boost the national and international profile of Feria Hábitat Valencia and we will do this by means of a set of measures designed to promote our way of staging an exhibition and consolidating its positioning vis-à-vis the most important markets.
Advertising campaigns. We are advertising in the leading decor, design, trends and lifestyle magazines as part of an ambitious media campaign.
Invitation campaign. We have planned a campaign to send invitations direct to more than 2.500 buyers and specifiers in 80 countries.
All this is possible thancks to Feria Hábitat Valencia’s close relationship with: ANIEME, ASOCAMA, ATEVAL, FECOM, FEDAI-DEC, FEDERMUEBLE, FEVAMA, ICEX & IVEX.
Promotion campaign. We have devised a number of events and promotional initiatives to promote Feria Hábitat Valencia both within Spain and internationally, including: being present at other Spanish and international trade fairs, telemarketing drives throughout the year, press conferences for the trade press, presentations to different groups of professionals and sales visits to companies.
