La próxima cita de Feria Hábitat Valencia, del 11 al 14 de febrero de 2014, supone un nuevo hito en el certamen líder de todos los sectores del hábitat ‘made in Spain’: la celebración de su 50 aniversario.

Medio siglo en el que desde Valencia y para el resto del mundo, la gran feria española del mueble ha servido de apoyo a la internacionalización y puesta en valor de lo mejor de nuestra industria y nuestra creatividad.

Arraigada en la esencia de lo que ha significado la Feria Internacional del Mueble de Valencia, en 1963 se sentaron las bases de una gran feria internacional que espoleó la industria y el tejido económico más tradicional del sector hacia los mercados globales. El mueble fue la punta de lanza de un cambio de aires en nuestra sociedad, una oxigenación de la economía a través del posicionamiento internacional de nuestros productos.

El sector evolucionó, el producto maduró, los canales de compra también y el consumidor se hizo más global. Y con ellos, la Feria Internacional del Mueble de Valencia creció y se hizo Feria Hábitat Valencia, integrando sectores, aunando esfuerzos y sinergias con todos los ámbitos relacionados con el mueble, la decoración, iluminación, textiles para el hogar, oficina y cocina.

Hoy, Feria Hábitat Valencia cumple 50 años y da un paso más hacia un posicionamiento global generando alianzas con otros certámenes líderes en sus sectores como Cevisama y FIMMA Maderalia. En su día, la Feria del Mueble fue pionera en su género. Hoy, Feria Hábitat Valencia vuelve a estar un paso por delante para  formar parte de un proyecto único en el escaparate ferial mundial.

Una evolución conservando los orígenes: ser el mejor escaparate internacional del hábitat ‘made in Spain’. Porque, por suerte, esto no ha cambiado.

Feria Hábitat Valencia is 50 years old

The next Feria Hábitat  Valencia , which runs from 11^th to 14^th  February 2014, will mark a new milestone for the leading  trade fair for the sectors that make up made in Spain interiors – its 50^th  anniversary. Half a century during which, from Valencia and reaching out across the world, Spain´s  great  furniture fair has supported out industry’s  pursuit  of international  development  by highlighting its creativity and very best it has offer.

The foundations of a great international fair were laid in 1963, building on the essence of the Valencia International Furniture Fair. The new event propelled the industry forward, expanding its traditional customer base by   steering it towards the global marketplace.  Furniture   was  at the forefront of  a  shift in our  society that  boosted the economy by positioning  our  products internationally. The  sector  moved on,  the  product matured as  did  routes  to market ,  and consumers became more global.  Alongside  these developments the Valencia International Furniture Fair  grew and morphed into Feria Hábitat Valencia, bringing different sectors together, joining forces with a exploiting  synergies between all areas of industry  related  to furniture, decorating, lighting, home textiles,  the office and kitchens.

Now, Feria Hábitat Valencia is turning 50 and moving a step closer to a global positioning by forging alliances with other leading events in their  sectors such Cevisama and Fimma Maderalia. In its day the Furniture Fair  was a pioneer of its kind. Today, Feria Hábitat Valencia is once again a step ahead, as part  of a project than is unique on the world’s trade fair  circuit.

This is progress that remains true  to its origins: to be  the best international showcase for made in Spain interiors. And that, fortunately, has not changed.
